A woman called authorities on Sunday to report that her husband had hit her. When deputies arrived at the couple’s home, they found the woman extremely intoxicated. The woman told deputies that their dog had been shot and she and her husband got into an argument about it. She claimed that her husband had thrown a phone charger at her but she ducked and it flew over her head. Her husband denied the accusation.
The man showed deputies that their dog appeared to have been shot in the back leg by an unknown person. He said that the dog had been roaming around and came home with the wound.
The man reportedly had a warrant for his arrest and was placed in handcuffs and taken to jail.
