Dixie Lee Richardson Powell, of Cedar Hills, Utah, and formerly of Safford, entered life eternal, joining her eternal companion, Roy, on Wednesday, September 14, 2022. She was 98.
Dixie was born August 6, 1924, in San Diego, California, to Edmund Wilford and Effie May Lee Richardson.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Carbine, Lora Hofmann, Donna Bradshaw, Denise Hamilton, Yvonne Nickels, Elon Simonson, John Powell, Richard Powell and David Powell.
Dixie was predeceased by: her parents, Edmund and Effie May Richardson; her eternal companion, Roy Powell; her sons, Ronald Powell and Craig Powell.
Funeral services for Dixie will be conducted Saturday, October 8, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. (10:00 a.m. Arizona Time), at the Cedar Hills Drive Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 4355 West Cedar Hills Drive in Cedar Hills, Utah.
Family will receive friends Saturday morning, October 8, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. (Utah Time), also at the church.
A luncheon will follow the services for family and distant travelers.
