Darlene Ann Dowd of Thatcher passed into eternity on March 9, 2021, in Safford, Arizona. Darlene was born on June 15, 1950, in Berwyn, Illinois, to Geraldine and Anthony Parise.
Darlene loved to laugh, she loved her jackets, but most of all she loved the Lord. She is one of His favorites. She always saw the silver lining on the clouds and lived her life to the fullest. Darlene enjoyed shopping; Christmas was great for shopping, presents, and holiday recipes. The most meaningful times in her life were when new grand-babies were born. She never wasted time or energy on the negative, only the positive. She was a traditional Italian, a beautiful, loving, and caring person. She would always say “Smile and be Grateful”.
She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings; Dominic Parise and Salvatore Parise.
She is survived by her children; James Maybury, Deborah Garner, and Thomas Maybury, 12 grandchildren, and many family and friends.
She was dearly loved and is sadly missed.
