Confirmed COVID-19 cases prompt new protocols for Hospital Visitors and Doctors Office Visits

With a confirmed case of the Coronavirus in the valley, the Graham County Health Department, working with the Mount Graham Regional Medical Center has established protocols for patient visitation and visits to medical clinics.

Mount Graham Regional Medical Center is currently restricting visitors to only one essential visitor per patient.

Individuals who are experiencing flu-like symptoms, or are questioning whether they should seek medical attention, should contact their primary care clinic by phone. Individuals who believe they could warrant Covid-19 testing should call their physician’s clinic before arriving in person. All primary care clinics in Graham County have instructions for their patients on how to proceed should they be experiencing symptoms consistent with Covid-19.

The Graham County Health Department is working closely with Mt Graham Regional Medical Center and all other Healthcare Providers in the County to ensure the safety and well-being of all County Residents.
