Community Pride Days: February 20th – 22nd, 2025
The City of Safford is again teaming up Graham County, the Town of Thatcher and the Town of Pima for Community Pride Days, February 20th – 22nd, 2025. During these days, residents can take one free load to the landfill. After the first waived fee, regular landfill fees will be charged.
Identification will be required. Safford, Thatcher, Pima and county residents must have identification to document their place of residency and proof of physical address within Graham County. Identification may include a photo ID, driver’s license or other form of proof of residency and physical address. Charges may apply to those who fail to provide proof of residency.
Be sure to tarp/secure your loads to avoid a $10.00 charge.
No hazardous material are accepted
Safford residents living within the city limits and have City of Safford trash service are permitted one free truckload per month throughout the year. Residents must bring a Safford utility bill showing trash service and a driver’s license that matches the address on the utility bill.
The Safford Landfill is located at 2755 N Safford Landfill Road. The landfill is open Thursday through Saturday 7:30 Am – 4:00 PM.
