THATCHER — Every day is the day to choose kindness, but that choice is being emphasized Monday, Sept. 13.
Sept. 13 is Red Out Day in the Gila Valley and #SaveASkyler is asking everyone to demonstrate how they choose kindness.
Everyone is asked to join together outside the Eastern Arizona College amphitheater and use sidewalk chalk to write, words of kindness about others, acts of kindness one can do, and pledges of kindness.
The chalk will be available from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and there will be a drone photo taken of the art and participants at 5:30 p.m. Participants are asked to wear red.
