THATCHER – Auditions for Eastern Arizona College’s Children’s Theater will be held Sept. 15-16, from 4-5:30 p.m. in the EAC Activities Center – Lee Little Theater. Auditions for the play, The Wind in the Willows (the story of Mr. Toad), are open to all children between the ages 4-10. Those who wish to audition should come prepared to sing, either acapella or with their own accompanist. A piano will be available.
Everyone who auditions will receive a part. There is a $15 fee per child due at the time of audition. Rehearsals will take place Tuesdays and Thursdays for Cast One and Wednesdays and Fridays for Cast Two from 4-5:30 p.m.
The final production will be Oct. 25-29. The director, Penny Whetten, encourages all interested young actors to come and audition. Contact Whetten with any questions at (928) 651-0363.
