CLIFTON —The Gila Watershed Partnership announced this week a new activity for children this spring and summer —an update to the Junior Ranger Booklet.

The booklet offers a number of activities for children ages 5-12 when they visit the San Francisco River, as well as instructions on how to be a good steward of the environment.

Completion of the activities will allow children to earn a Junior Ranger badge, which can be picked up at the Clifton Library, U.S. Forest Service offices at Three-Way and from the Gila Watershed Partnership in Safford.

Booklets are available at the Clifton Library and through the Gila Watershed Partnership. Call 928-424-3886 or e-mail kara@gwpaz.org.
