SAFFORD — The local American Legion post is using good food to help veterans.
American Legion Swift-Murphy Post 32 is offering a chicken and waffle dinner this Friday, with all proceeds going to Graham Greenlee Serving Veterans to fund the 2021 Veterans Day Resource Fair.
The dinner, which features golden brown waffles, large chicken tenders, coleslaw, apple filling, butter and syrup, is just $10 per plate and can be enjoyed at the post or for take-out.
The dinner will take place from 5-7 p.m. Friday, April, 16, and is limited to the first 100 diners.
