SAFFORD — There won’t be a Cinco de Mayo parade in Safford this year, but the chance to show off classic cars remains.
McCabe Production Car Shows announced it is conducting a Show and Shine as part of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church’s Cinco de Mayo celebration.
The Show and Shine will take place Saturday, May 6, starting at 11 a.m., on the lawn in front of the rectory. The show is open to all makes, models, bikes, trikes and motorcycles, and there is no cost to enter.
The St. Rose of Lima Parish Cinco de Mayo Fiesta will feature entertainment, games for the kids, vendors and plenty of food. However, no cash will be accepted for food or drinks; food and drink tickets must be purchased in advance at the church office or onsite.
