SAFFORD — The community is asked to come together while the search continues for a missing special needs woman.

A candlelight vigil for Liberty Salazar, 21, will take place Saturday, March 4, at 6 p.m., at the Graham County Chamber of Commerce.

On the Facebook event page, organizers wrote, “As of right now, we’re still looking for any information about her location. We can use your help. How can you help? You can help by knowing about her missing status, telling your friends, and being there to support us as we continue our search.”

Salazar, who has been diagnosed as autistic with epilepsy, was last seen near her family’s mailbox at her home near Cactus Ranch Road and U.S. Highway 191 on Jan. 23. She was last seen wearing black, pointy-toed cowboy boots; a Puma hoodie; a plaid shirt; blue jeans; and a pink wrist watch.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at 928-428-3141.
