SAFFORD — Safford Police are asking for the public’s help to find the person or persons who shot a calf last Saturday.
The shooting took place near Blue Ponds No. 2, sometime between 6-9:20 a.m.
In a posting to social media, detectives said it’s believe multiple individuals may have been fishing at Pond No. 3 at the time of the shooting, and may have pertinent information.
“We’re asking anyone who may have been in the area, or who has any information, to come forward,” Detective McLain said in the posting.
