The COVID-19 crisis has upended everything in our community. With all the extra attention we’ve all been giving to the pandemic, we forgot to announce the winner of the alternate voting that has been going on this past week.
Brianna Richins had the most online votes and has won the last slot in the final competition of the 2020 Gila Idol competition.
“We are excited to see Brianna on stage,” said Double R Communications owner, Reed Richins. “She’s been wanting to be in this competition since she was about 11.”
The final competition has been put on hold due to the need for social distancing at this time during the COVID-19 crisis. Further details on when, where and how the final competition will be held are forthcoming.
