Bomb Threat reported at Pima High School

A telephonic message from Pima High School has been sent to parents of students at the school regarding an alleged bomb threat. Here is the message:

“A student at Pima High School reported to the office that another student told them that they were planning to build a bomb and use it to attack the school. The student who made the threat has been positively identified. Appropriate disciplinary procedures are being followed and the Pima Police Department has been involved in supporting the investigation.

There is no current threat to the safety of students at any school in Pima. We continue to make the safety of our students our number one priority and should any evidence of a threat at school be discovered, we will take the appropriate steps to protect students.
