It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Beverly Taylor Shupe, who passed away peacefully on October 17, 2024, in Thatcher, Arizona, at the age of 79. Beverly was born on July 20, 1945, in Colonia Dublan, Chihuahua, Mexico, to Loren LaSelle and Arletta Taylor.
Beverly lived a full and beautiful life, filled with love, kindness, and generosity. She was a devoted wife to her surviving husband, Roland Shupe, and together they created a legacy of love and family. Beverly is survived by her five children: Robyn (Wil) Mortensen, Stewart (Wendy) Shupe, Lance (Terri) Shupe, Stirling (Ani) Shupe, and Misty Price. She was a proud grandmother to 28 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense joy.
Beverly spent her career as a dedicated Postmaster before retiring to enjoy more time with her family and friends. She was known for her vibrant personality, always full of life, and kind to everyone she met. Beverly was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where her faith and service touched the lives of many.
Beverly’s warmth, love, and joyful spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of kindness and love will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
Funeral services for Beverly will be conducted Saturday morning, October 26, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., at the Thatcher Stake Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints by Bishop Jay Larson of the Thatcher Third Ward. Concluding services will follow in the Artesia Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Saturday morning, October 26, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m., at the Thatcher Stake Center Relief Society Room of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
