Bert Raymond Schneidewent, Jr., a resident of Safford, peacefully passed into rest in the early morning hours of Saturday, March 5, 2022. Ray was 86.
Ray was born August 7, 1935, in the small town of Ladysmith, Wisconsin, the son of Bert Schneidewent, Sr. and Thelma Davis Schneidewent. He met and married Ramona Jean Elliott. They were married December 24, 1954. To this union were joined six children. Ray worked and provided for his family spending most of his time behind wheel driving truck. He will be remembered for his examples of good, hard work and service above self.
Ray leaves to mourn: his wife of 67 years, Ramona; his children, Jim (Mikey), Sandi (Marilyn), Mark, Jo (Steve), Rose and Tom (Tahna); and a brother, Glen. Ray was predeceased by: his mother, Thelma; his father, Bert; and his brother, LeRoy.
