Thatcher native Daniel Smith will be hosting an interactive makeup Masterclass on June 22nd at The Parlor Salon at 2650 Highway 70 in Thatcher! This one of a kind class will feature professional makeup application using drugstore products.

What You Will Learn:
Daniel’s Makeup Seminar will be interactive! Each student will be able to follow along with technique and application using products from their Makeup Kit. Students will walk away with the skills to apply makeup based on skin type, as well as with the confidence to know which products to invest in. (Scroll down to see the full curriculum.)

Daniel Ruiz Smith is a makeup artist based in Los Angeles, California. His motto? Always color outside of the lines. Daniel has brought his makeup creations to life through collaborations with Disney, Buzzfeed, MTV, Instagram, Teen Vogue, wet n wild, Uber, Venmo and Tatcha, just to name a few! Daniel is known for his elaborate 31 Days of Halloween where he recreates his favorite pop culture icons as well as creates his own original looks. His makeup style incorporates everyday objects – from candy to sequins to newspaper and computer circuit boards. Currently,
Daniel is launching a MasterClass series featuring drug store makeup looks to help people feel beautiful in their own skin.
His goal with the seminar is to instill a confidence in the students to understand which products to invest in and the knowledge necessary to help them feel confident in their own skin. Makeup is not always a “color-by-number” and after this seminar, each student will know WHY they are using each and every product that goes onto their face and have the skills to apply makeup in the most effective way based on their skin, age, and personality.
