CLIFTON — A bear was seen going through residential neighborhoods over the weekend.
Clifton Police reported receiving a number of reports about the bear, which was spotted going through homeowners’ unsecured trash cans and food left outside for pets.
“Please put these things away to deter the bear from coming to your property,” Police officials said in a posting to social media.
