SAFFORD — National Public Service Recognition Week is May 7-13, and local nonprofit organizations are coming together to give the public information on how to serve.
A Public Service Week event will take place Thursday, May 11, from 4-6 p.m., at Lighthouse Medical Center, 1765 S. 20th Ave., in Safford.
Participating is the House of Hope Sober Living Facility, Southeastern Arizona Community Action Plan (SEACAP), Our Neighbor’s Farm and Pantry and Mt. Graham Safe House. The local service agencies will share information about how to become involved or to donate.
Plus Ultimate Bounce House will be there for kids, along with Local Party Art face painting.
