CLIFTON — Clifton Police announced a suspect is in custody in connection to an armed robbery at the Conoco Gas Station.
In a prepared release, Clifton Police Chief Omar Negrete said the suspect is a juvenile, and was taken into custody Tuesday, Feb. 1, at 12:32 p.m. Assisting in the suspect’s apprehension was Greenlee County Sheriff’s deputies and members of the Greenlee County Probation Department.
The robbery took place Jan. 29.
Negrete did not name the suspect, and said investigation is ongoing.
