SAFFORD — The best way to connect employers with job seekers is holding an open house and ribbon-cutting this week.
Arizona @ Work will celebrate its new location, 626 S. 6th Ave., in Safford, with a Graham County Chamber of Commerce event April 8, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
“We’re really excited about our new building,” said Arizona @ Work’s Bobbie Reed. “We’ve had great reviews so far, we’ve has a lot of good walk-in clientele coming in, job fairs on a weekly basis with singular employers; it’s been a good move for us.”
Reed said Arizona @ Work is tracking a number of job openings in the area, everything from entry-level to professional, those visiting for the open house may be able to find a new career opportunity.
She added that Arizona @ Work has eight computers available for job seekers to submit applications, as many employers only take digital applications.
Arizona @ Work is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
