SAFFORD — On its social media, the City of Safford announced development of additional housing is coming soon.
The posting states the Bungalows will be 24 units, each with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, located at the corner of 20th Avenue and 26th Street. The posting states the units will be energy efficient, with in-unit washers and dryers and for lease.
There was no information on the development’s timeline.
It’s the second large development in Safford announced this year.
In May, the Safford City Council approved the development plan and final plat for the Villas and Cottages on 14th, a 165-unit development at the corner of 14th Avenue and Relation Street.
The Villas and Cottages on 14th will offer units from 1,300 to 1,460 square feet. And developers have plans for a park, dog park and pickelball courts as part of the project.
