It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Amelia J. Sanchez. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. Amelia will be missed dearly by all who knew her.
She devoted her love to her family, friends, and Parrish. Amelia was born in Santa Rita, New Mexico and was married to Ricardo M. Sanchez on August 4, 1951. Amelia’s passing was preceded by the death of: her father, Ylario Jimenez; her mother, Margarita Costales-Jimenez; and her husband, Ricardo M. Sanchez.
She leaves behind: her six children; twelve grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren. Amelia leaves behind one brother, Ronaldo Jimenez.
Amelia will always be remembered for her kind heart, her cooking, and how much she loved her family.
Graveside committal services for Amelia will be celebrated Thursday, February 9, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., at the Safford Cemetery by Rev. Nathaniel Mma.
