Alice Ochoa Licano, 76, of Clifton, Arizona, passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2023, in Tucson, Arizona. She was born on April 27, 1947, in Clifton to Sally Ochoa.
Alice was raised in and attended school in Clifton as well. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and at one time, taught catechism there.
She and her husband Pablo would have celebrated 57 years of marriage on July 6, 2023. She was a wife, mother, and grandma that enjoyed being with and talking to her family.
Alice is survived by her husband Pablo Licano of Clifton, AZ, her daughters Karen Pedro of Safford, AZ, Marlo Rivera of Bullhead City, AZ, Billie Licano of Chandler, AZ, and her son David Licano, Sr. of Clifton, AZ. She is also survived by her brother Benny Ochoa of Mesa, AZ, 9 Grandchildren, 2 Great-Grandchildren, and 1 Great-Great- Grandson.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Paula Licano, her mom Sally Ochoa, and her brother Charles Ochoa.
A visitation will be held on Friday, June 16, 2023, at 9:00 a.m. followed by the Recitation of the Rosary and 9:30, with the Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 10:15 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Clifton. Following the reception in the parish hall, interment will be in the Safford Cemetery.
