Alden K. Beals

Alden K. Beals, 80, of Pima, passed away April 2, 2018.  He was born September 14, 1937, to Chuck and Roziel Beals.  He grew up in Pima.  In 1955 he enlisted and served in the Navy.  He served a two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Guadalajara Mexico Mission in 1958.  He loved the language and the people.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Sheila, his twin sisters Clorine and Florine, and his brother Darrell.  He is survived by his brothers Solon and Farrell Beals, his children Shelline Thompson, Shawn Beals, Charlie Beals (Marci), Spring Jeffery, 18 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He cared for his mother in her home until her passing.  The family would like to express appreciation to Haven of Safford for caring for Alden during the last years of his life.

A Viewing will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. with the funeral service beginning at 10:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Old Pima Chapel (49 North 100 West, on Highway 70).  Interment will follow in the Pima Cemetery.
