A quiet Thursday in the Gila Valley when it comes COVID-19

SAFFORD — There are five new cases of coronavirus in Graham County.

Graham County Health Department announced the new cases Thursday evening. That brings the county’s total to 707, with 297 of the cases still considered active, 388 recovered and 22 deaths.

The San Carlos Apache Tribe reported six new cases on the reservation Thursday. That brings the tribe’s total to 774, with 115 of the cases still active, 647 recovered and 12 deaths.

Thursday was Day 21 without a new a case of COVID-19 in Greenlee County.

Greenlee County Health Department reports the county’s total is holding at 58, with just three cases still active, 53 recovered and two deaths.
