THATCHER — The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to prepare for the start of a pavement improvement project on east- and westbound US 70, between Cottonwood Wash and Reay Lane, from the Town of Pima to Thatcher in Graham County.

Right lane restrictions on east- and westbound US 70 between mileposts 330 and 335 are scheduled daily from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday beginning Monday, Oct. 12.

Motorists traveling through the area can expect traffic restrictions and reduced speed limits for the duration of the project. ADOT will provide advance notice of lane restrictions and closures to email subscribers.

Drivers should allow extra travel time, use caution, be prepared to slow down and merge safely when approaching and traveling through all work zones.

For more information and to subscribe for project updates, visit the project website at azdot.gov/US70-cottonwood-wash.
