CLIFTON — Greenlee County is seeking residents to work the polls on Election Day.
Election board workers must be a registered voter; able to read, speak and write English; and attend a three-hour training class before Election Day.
Workers may be 16 or 17, if participating under the student program.
The work takes place from 5:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. on day of the Primary Election, July 21. Workers will be asked open and close the polls, set up the voting equipment, register and sign-in voters, issue ballots, and record and verify vote totals.
Workers will be paid for day, as well as attending the three-hour training before Election Day.
