New scholarship for San Carlos Apache students

SAN CARLOS — San Carlos Apache Tribal Chairman Terry Rambler announced a new scholarship is available to tribal students.

The Chairman’s Scholarship Program has been allocated $100,000 from the chairman’s office budget, and is available to students across all levels of post-high school education:

  • Vocational certification
  • Associate degrees
  • Bachelor degrees
  • Masters degrees
  • Doctoral degrees

The scholarship is merit-based. Applicants must be accepted into a college program as a full-time student, and must have a grade-point-average of 2.5 or better from the most recent school attended.
