SAFFORD — Hundreds of motorcycles made their way to Safford over the weekend, to take part in the inaugural Main Street Rally, put on by Retrograde Brew and BBQ.
And Retrograde owner Dell Morris said there’s room to grow next year.
“I think just from the traction that we did this year, and more time to plan and promote, we’ll be able to probably triple it,” Morris said.

Attendees were able to view custom motorcycles, buy and sell parts, compete in the show and shine and enjoy two full days of music from the Heart and Soul Band, Dedwin Band, Geno Moreno, Last Train to Juarez, Z’Nora and the Harlis Sweetwater Band.

“I just feel like we created a good vibe, and be able to bring people with the same vibe into town,” Morris said. “From there, it just kept on rolling.”
The city closed 5th Avenue from the alley north of Main Street to 7th Avenue for the event, plus closed Main Street from Central to 6th Avenue because of the other event happening Downtown on Saturday, the Market on Main on 6th.
