SAFFORD — Weather permitting, the Safford Ranger District of the Coronado National Forest will conduct pile burning on Mount Graham this week.
The burn area is about 25 acres above Turkey Flat.
Smoke may be visible in the Gila Valley, in the Bonita and Sulpher Springs Valley and along Highway 366.
Trail and roadways remain open, but travelers are asked to avoid the areas where operations are taking place.
