Light up the Gila Valley winners announced

GRAHAM COUNTY — This year’s winning decorations have been selected in the Country Financial Ice King Light Up the Gila Valley contest by Double R Communications.

The winning homes are:

  • 748 S 600 W in Pima
  • 625 S. Main St. in Pima
  • 2814 Saddleview St. in Thatcher
  • 1289 N. Stadium Ave. in Thatcher
  • 2940 Hoopes Ave. in Thatcher
  • 816 W. Kimball in Safford
  • 850 W. 26th St. in Safford
  • 990 W. 61st Dr. in Graham County
  • 4889 E. Main St. in Solomon
  • 4911 E. Main St. in Solomon

Each winner will receive a $100 Visa gift card.

The home at 850 W. 26th St. in Safford was selected as one of the winners in the Country Financial Ice King Light Up the Gila Valley contest, presented by Double R Communications.

In addition, the Town of Thatcher announced the winners in its Christmas Light contest.

Those winners are:

  • $150 grand prize — David Ramirez, 1653 Cactus Wren Ln.
  • $100 first place — Chip Griffin, 1289 N. Stadium Ave.
  • $75 second place — Jimmie and Helen Daley, 3042 W. Shadow Ln.
  • $50 third place — Lori Sedgeman and Lisa Shurtz, 2618 W. Dove Ln.

Honorable mentions, each receiving $25, were Joaquin and Nancy Canez, 2732 W. Dove Ln.; Donald and Aimee Ambler, 854 N. Stadium Ave.; William and Jason Cole, 1668 S. Pheasant Ln.; Patty Ellerman, 2964 W. Church St.; Cheyenne Iske, 3851 W. Kimball St.; and Daniel Escobedo, 3926 W. Fuller St.
