Safford’s first Wellness Expo is Friday

SAFFORD — Gila Valley residents will have the chance to learn how to find their center, slow down and avoid burnout this holiday season.

The Wellness Expo will take place Friday, Nov. 28, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Venue and Vignette on Main in Safford.

Jeff Kiser, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, AAHIVA, with Canyonlands Healthcare, will be the keynote speak on “pressing pause.”

“How to approach this coming season with less exhaustion, and ways to purposely take a pause when you need it,” Kiser said.

The day starts with breakfast and a presentation by Kay Ekval on rediscovering yourself through Intuitive Education.

At 10:45 a.m., there will be five breakout sessions:

  • Prioritizing opportunities over obstacles by Jeff Kiser
  • Women’s health and sexual awareness by Trinity Bejarano with ReVive Innovations
  • Health through nature by Alex Schroeder with Kachina Mineral Spa
  • Red light and whole body restoration by Diana Lee with Thrivelee Healing Spa
  • Emotional tools for the holidays by Kay Ekval with Center for Intuitive Education

After lunch and Kiser’s keynote speech, the breakout sessions will repeat for a chance to learn something new.
