SAFFORD — The City of Safford announced on its social media that the Streets Department will be closing portions of 5th Avenue, between 11th and 9th streets, Tuesday, Aug. 12, while crews work in the area.
Work is expected to begin at about 7 a.m. and should last only a few hours.
Drivers are asked to use caution and obey all traffic control devices in the work zone.
