SAFFORD — The Graham County Democratic Committee is fund-raising to help those dealing with food insecurity.
The local Democrats are conducting a Cash Donation Drive to benefit Our Neighbor’s Farm and Pantry. Donations may be dropped off at Democratic Party Headquarters, 325 E. Highway 70 in Safford, in the blue building next to the Laundromat. Or call 928-424-3367.
Our Neighbor’s Farm and Pantry food bank serves about 2,000 households each month with non-perishable food items and fresh fruits and vegetables grown at its farm. Local elementary schools also use the farm for hands-on science instruction.
