SAFFORD — The Arizona Department of Transportation will be conducting maintenance on traffic signal cabinets this week.
The result will be the signal turned off at intersection throughout Safford, with law enforcement directing traffic through the areas.
Work will take place on the following dates:
- Tuesday, May 13, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., at the intersection of U.S. Highway 70 and 14th Avenue
- Tuesday, May 15, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., at the intersection of U.S. Highway 70 and 20th Avenue
Motorists are advised to expect delays, and asked to slow down and use caution when traveling through the area. Use of an alternate route, if possible, is advised.
