SAFFORD — Homeowners and home builders can now receive up to $250 in rebates for installing or upgrading natural gas appliances.
The City of Safford is offering the rebates for purchases and installations on or after July 1, and within six months of application. Appliances must be new, Energy Star-rated and operational.
Eligible for rebates are:
- Water Heaters, Stoves, Clothes Dryers, Wall Heaters — $50 each
- Pool/Spa Heaters, Furnaces, Generators — $100 each
- New Natural Gas Service Installation — $250
