And the Most Creative was the 50 Yarders, a horse riding club of families and friends. Each rider in the parade was wearing a magenta piece of clothing, and a riderless horse was included, in honor of original member Eleanor Abeyta.

The winners were awarded $100 each.

There were 19 entries in the parade, which finished at St. Rose of Lima for the annual celebration that included food, music and games for children.

Sponsors of the Cinco de Mayo Parade were Dr. Susan Jones-Gila Valley Clinic, Torrio Trucking and Michele Wilson Agency-Farmers Insurance.
