GRAHAM COUNTY — Graham County Search and Rescue has received full funding for two grants from the United Way of Graham and Greenlee Counties: the Education Grant and the Swiftwater Training Grant.

The Education Grant will enable the team to access advanced training programs and stay current with the latest rescue techniques.

The Swiftwater Training Grant will enhance water rescue skills, ensuring the team is fully prepared for any water-related emergency.

These initiatives are crucial for strengthening operational readiness and enhancing community safety.

“We are deeply grateful for the United Way of Graham and Greenlee Counties support. These grants are a tremendous boost to our training and preparedness, directly benefiting the safety and resilience of our community,” said Tommy Snodderley, president, at Graham County Search and Rescue.
