SAFFORD — The Safford Ranger District of the Coronado National Forest announced plans to starting burning piles Wednesday, Jan. 29, weather permitting.
The piles are located near the Turkey Flat Camping Area and the Columbine Visitor Center.
Visitors to Mount Graham are advised that smoke will be present throughout the weekend, if the burning takes place.
Drivers should also be cautious on State Route 366, due to the additional traffic and emergency vehicles that will be present.
