SAN CARLOS — San Carlos Apache Forestry is battling a 300-acre wildfire on the reservation.
The Gap fire is south of Indian Route 8, north of the Fishhooks Wilderness. San Carlos Police report that no structures are currently under threat from the fire.
The fire was first reported just before 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 7.
Cause of the fire and containment levels have not yet been reported.
