SAFFORD — On its social media Friday, the Safford Unified School District announced that all students enrolled in the district will be eligible for free meals this school year.
Students will be able to obtain a free breakfast each morning before the start of class, as well as free lunch.
Safford is moving to a four-day week this school year, with fall, winter and spring breaks each getting two weeks off.
The first day of school is Wednesday, July 24.
