Woman calls 911 in a panic, says snakes surrounded her tent

A woman who lives in a tent by the Gila River called 911 just after midnight last night saying there were snakes in her tent and around her tent. A deputy responded with a local volunteer who removes snakes. However, no snakes were found anywhere in the vicinity. The woman was apparently having a mental health episode and later admitted that the snakes may have been a hallucination.

An EMS unite arrived to evaluate the woman and agreed that she appeared to be suffering a mental health episode. The deputy tried to convince the woman to go to the hospital for an evaluation but she refused. Ultimately, deputies and EMS left the scene and told the woman to call if she had any more issues.
