SAFFORD — The Coronado National Forest-Safford Ranger District is looking for volunteers to serve as hosts on Mount Graham during the summer season.
Hosts work weekends with a focus on customer service. They will be provided with training and supervision while they volunteer with the district. No previous experience is necessary; however, a background check is required for all positions.
Hosts are need at Columbine Visitor Center, from March 1 to Sept. 30; and at Arcadia Campground and Riggs Flat Camp, both from May 1 to Sept. 30.
All host areas are surrounded by lush forests and feature cooler temperatures when the weather warms in the valleys below. There will be limited cell phone use in some areas.
