SAFFORD — On Friday Graham County experienced its third-worst day this month in terms of COVID-19.
Graham County Health Department reported 27 new cases of coronavirus Friday, with 15 of the cases on the San Carlos Apache reservation, 10 in Safford and two in Thatcher.
Of the more than 300 new cases recorded this month, 114 of the cases have occurred this week.
Graham County’s total is at 1,224, with 365 active cases and 28 deaths. Graham County’s positivity rate has climbed from 14.8 percent to 18.2 percent.
Greenlee County is now at five days without a new case.
Greenlee County Health reports the county is holding at 103 cases, with 41 active cases and two deaths. Greenlee County’s positivity rate has dropped from 17.6 percent to 9.5 percent.
