2015 Polaris Razor stolen from Safford Residence

Safford police officers were dispatched to a residence on 20th Avenue at approximately 8:44 a.m., on Thursday, July 25th, in response to a Polaris Razor that had been stolen.

The reporting party had called from out of town to report that he had received a call from his sister, who had noticed that his 2015 Polaris Razor was missing from his residence. The man said that the vehicle had been parked on the north side of his residence and was covered with a tarp. The Razor is a two-seater, with black plastic, black wheels, orange bars, and a blue wench cable.

The investigating officer located several shoe prints in the area the vehicle had been parked. The ground was still moist where the Razor had been parked.

The officer checked with nearby businesses to see if there was any video surveillance that might have captured what time the Razor was stolen. At the time of the report the officer had not heard back from any businesses.

Later in his shift, the officer spoke to  a neighbor, who stated that they had not noticed anything unusual the night Razor was stolen. The neighbor said that he can usually hear the Razor when it starts. He said that he went to bed at about 1:00 a.m. and did not hear the Razor’s engine.
