SAN CARLOS — A man accused of attempting to distribute illegal drugs with a street value of nearly $50,000 was arrested by San Carlos Apache Police.
Michael McDaniel, a non-Tribal member, was taken into custody Friday at the Apache Gold Resort and Casino.
Acting on a tip, the Tribal Police K-9 unit alerted to McDaniel’s vehicle and a search reportedly revealed one pound of methamphetamine, 94 fentanyl pills, 22 grams of marijuana, three firearms and other assorted paraphernalia.
McDaniel was booked into Gila County Jail.
