SAFFORD — The House of Hope sober living facility is helping six men as they transition from addiction to productive lives.

To continue that effort, the House of Hope needs the public’s financial assistance, and a series of fund-raisers will take place over the next few months.

Wreaths for Recovery is going on now. Community members are encouraged to donate holiday wreaths, which will be re-sold back into community during the holidays, with proceeds benefiting the program.

“We’ve also got an upcoming cornhole tournament, which is getting to be real big. It’s Nov. 6 at the FMI Pavilion at (Graham County) Fairgrounds,” said Jason Baca, House of Hope manager.

Sign-ups for the Toss for the Cause Cornhole Tournament start at 9 a.m., and play starts at 10 a.m.

A yard sale is also planned for Nov. 13 at the House of Hope sober living facility, 608 1st Avenue in Safford. Wreaths can also be dropped off at the facility.
