SOLOMON — Women Veteran’s Day will celebrated with a special dinner this weekend.
The American Legion Lopez-Hernandez Post No. 95 Auxiliary in Solomon will conduct its second annual Women Veteran’s Day Appreciation Dinner Thursday, June 12, starting at 6 p.m. All female veterans are invited.
The first Women Veteran’s Day was celebrated June 12, 2018. It celebrates President Harry Truman’s signing of the Women’s Armed Services Integration Act in 1948.
