GRAHAM COUNTY — A woman found herself in Graham County Jail following a fight with her significant other.
The incident occurred at a home on East Bowler Lane. The woman claimed she and her husband both struck each other, and her husband punched and broke the television. She could not specify where she was struck, other than in the face, which showed no signs of altercation.
The husband, who had left prior to Graham County Sheriff’s deputies’ arrival, said he did not strike his wife, but that she did hit him in the face, which showed scratch marks and reddening. He said he accidentally hit the TV while trying to get dressed before leaving the house.
The woman was taken into custody and booked into jail on charges of assault. The husband was cited for criminal damage.
